Mountain Aviation

Hey,

Does anyone have any updated information on Mountain Aviation out of Broomfield, CO? I'm looking for current QOL, Pilot pay, schedule (I know they say 7 on 4 off and 7 on 3 off rotating, but I'm wondering how many of these days on average are overnights, day trips, Standby, etc.?), and any other information one might deem pertinent. TIA!

I'll ask my buddy who flies there for specifics. I know he likes working there, but no real specific info.

"QOL is good and currently it's 7on 7 off for most of us depending on what he's looking to fly. 50k/sic, 80k/pic on Excel right now. Benefits are great, per diem 50/day, 75/day international. Days home on call depends on type of assigned week. Contract weeks are on the road sometimes travelling on day 0 and/or day8. Things have been changing a lot so no guarantee on that...."

That was his response

Hmmmm $80k/$50k not that fantastic. Average at best. Can do better at a regional airline these days.

Name me a Regional that will pay $50/hour to an FO within 5 years. I cannot think of any.

Both PSA and Envoy are advertising first year pay of $58,000.

Read the fine print. Not everything is as it appears.

There is not even a 5th year pay posted? I feel like if your too stupid to pass the caption check ride after 4 years you deserve the FO pay. It's not even in the contract last 4 years Captain starts at 65. Within 5 years at $75 an hour with 75 min a month I think you will be fine. That's not including any of the fine print bonuses.
