They're the 3% that are miserable no matter what. Every bad commute, every crappy trip is punctuated with, "That's it! I'm updating my logbook!!!"

Vote no, they'll get another 10% tacked on tomorrow and then vote "yes." Simple as that right?

It should easily pass.

I don’t know. The bullets tell one story. Apparently some of the details include zero or very little profit sharing, high costs LTD and some others.

Based on the bullets alone, I wouldnt vote yes myself. I’d need to see more ... reserve rules, LTD stipulations, bidding process changes, vacation and sick accrual, JA and VJA increases, etc.

Hate to break it to but the only interesting thing will be the posts here-Our new TA at B6 will pass 75% YES.
Once the majority of guys see the work rules and pairing construction, they vote their calculators.
Even if it was voted down, the amount added to the contract wont make up for the effort and delayed pay and work rules. Most guys who are angry expected to be "paid back" for 15 years of B6BS. It never works that way.
Good luck to you guys here and maybe we both have a merger in our future.

We'll know more after the road shows but I like what I hear. The guys that are ****ed, dont even know what most of the contract entails.

I’ve been saying this for over a year. We’ve been at impasse since before mediation started and haven’t left an impasse status since. The progress the NMB has sought and the company has allowed over the course of 1.5 years is an absolute joke! The NMB isn’t mediating until an impasse, we passed that mark long ago. What they are doing is outside their mandate, they determine what “is reasonable” by this demand that all parties enter a “zone of reasonableness”, which by anyone’s logic is actually dictating what they believe to be appropriate pay rates, benefits, and work rules. And the fact that we’re going further and further from market rate in this mediation only proves they’re playing favorites to the company. The NMB will have have us locked into a very bottom of the barrel contract by their means. The market isn’t determining our contract, it is being determined by a government institution run by political appointees (who only answer to those who put them there); there is ZERO oversight to protect the integrity of the RLA. The RLA is being used by the NMB as tool to stop all work stoppages at all costs, even when labor groups are dealing with Corporate scumbags like Indigo Partners.

There is enough of a concentration of pilots in the Denver Metro to get the attention of a Senator or a couple Representatives. If only there were a way for us to organize and unify to make our voices heard. Like an organization that could fight for pilot labor rights on The Hill. Wouldn’t that would be something?!

I agree that being released is our only shot. Ironically if we start barking up the tree you suggest, it practically guarantees we will not be released. At that point we will have pi$$ed the NMB off and made it personal.

That said if they just let us sit for 6 months and don’t even schedule more mediation we won’t have much to lose.

Why? They are appointed positions by our elected officials...
They have to answer to someone!
