I get what the strategy was, but it’s time everybody admit it didn’t work. AND it’s time that our union tell us what the new strategy is rather than just say, “hey we want more money”. Crickets from the NBM. Crickets from the union. It’s so peaceful here it’s like camping on the island of misfit toys.
Lastly, is your apostrophe key broken? “Your”? I’m tired of reading post after post that hurts my brain. Hate to be the grammar police but seriously...

If you’re referring to the time from their official request for proffer until they were released, then we are well beyond the 90 days here. It was requested in April. It’s been about 120 days for us. There’s your answer.

Wrong, we DO know the answer...it WAS an ill conceived strategy. I’m not saying we’d have been released by now BUT we would’ve been at an impasse sooner. So I’d say there would’ve been a better chance of being released had we proved that impasse long ago rather than asking for release 4 months ago.
I guess we wil just have to disagree on that then. That’s a fair point about being at an impass sooner I just don’t see it as having been way sooner and you run the risk of the mediator holding off monthly sessions for being unreasonable. This process takes forever already.

Didn’t seeem that way from your earlier comments. I do agree that we need a new strategy and it’s definitely frustrating that we haven’t heard what it is. Any suggestions?

Keep in mind we lost 2 months. One due to waiting to request mediation for the mediator we wanted, and got, to become available. The other month was lost when his property was destroyed in a hurricane. All in all we got to this point fairly quickly from a historical sec 6. Perspective. That’s all I’ll say about how we got to where we currently are. There’s really no point in further discussion. I’m trying to now focus on a path forward. Any thoughts or suggestions on a new strategy are welcome. Other than the could be considered a work action ones please.

It’s hard to have a legal strategy when the legal system is broke. The only thing we can do is wait for the company to want a contract because they can’t hire.
Is it possible for ALPA to sue the NMB for financial damages. They said our case was still under mediation but they haven’t don’t much mediation in months.

1. File more federal lawsuits
2. Work with other airline managements to offer preferential interviews for qualified F9 pilots.
3. Use Strike Bus to target Indigo interest
4. File a FOIA request and demand answers as to why the NMB just "disappeared".

Causing all of these stinks take capital, all kinds of capital; monetary, political, relational, and more.
How much do we really matter to ALPA national? I don't know that answer, and I'm afraid I don't want to.
