Here it is. Your "leadership" in management admitting that in one line that while there are "tensions in contract negotiations" that they are purposely "poking the bear" and that it is "fun" to do so. Keep in mind these comments are being made while they were issuing a memo to elicit help from the pilot group, it's completely two-faced.

So ****!ng disgraceful.

Here is the text from the revision version of the Anticipated Open Time MEMO that was quickly taken down off Comply365:

"Commented[CS1]: With tensions in contract negotiations and poking the bear more, they could also put out communications not to answer the phone. While I agree, poking the bear is fun, we need to consider the effects of stirring the pot while our teammates are/will be in need."

I think they mean we are trying to poke the bear meaning them. Referencing the DIO grievance.

I think the letter was in comply before the DIO grievance email.

This sounds almost identical to what happened at Spirit. Our CEO called our entire pilot group "Low Tier" and said we deserve to be compensated as such. He then attempted to issue the most [email protected]$$ed apology in the history of apologies.

This ****ed us off, exactly as it was meant to do. They were then able to take posts from ****ed off, anonymous "Keyboard Warriors," (who may or may not even be Spirit pilots, and could very well have been management plants) and use them to file a lawsuit.

Be careful. They could be leading your group down the same path. You should be mad, but please, don't say or do anything stupid, especially on the boards. They are counting on one or two bad apples to get fired up and start posting bad ideas about illegal actions. Don't let the same type of idiots ruin it for you guys like they did for us.

Any company that uses anonymous posts on an internet message board as evidence should be laughed out of the court room. I can't believe the courts even allowed it to be presented.

"Your honor, this post by T!TSMcGEE clearly demonstrates an organized effort to circumvent our established labor contract.."

Judge: "And can you prove T!TSMcGEE actually works at your airline?"

"Well, no, but wait 'till you see what LongDong69 wrote just yesterday!"

Yeah, but it did happen. Courts are very pro business. Not pro labor... It's pretty ridiculous

Very funny. But it worked. Spirit had a more compelling case than just the online message board, they had numerous phone recordings of pilots admiting to the work slow down.

Point well taken though, we need to be careful and smart!
