Looks like we have some hotel changes that came out today.

PHL-DoubleTree Wilmington

TYS-Hilton Knoxville Airport

MCO-Laquita Inn

MCI-Hilton Kansas City Airport

Good? Bad?

I looked up that LaQuinta. It looks brand new. Next to tons of restaurants.

I will take the 30 min drive anytime of the day in PHL as long as there are things to do. Location, Location, Location!

Compared to the Holiday Inn it's awesome. That place passed it's prime in the early 90s.

Both are in a great location though.

As for the rest:

TYS: On the field hotel

PHL: Dunno

MCI: It's near a gas station!!!!! FREE SMOKE!!!

I have experience with two of these hotels from a previous airline.

MCI: The Hilton is just OK, but at least Hiltons have a standard for cleanliness. The van will take you down to a shopping/dining area about 5 min south on I-29, it's called ZONA ROSA. It used to be that you had to schedule your van ride to Zona Rosa at least 30min in advance because they were "just so busy" picking up pax from the airport.

TYS: Crews either love or hate this Hilton. The airport isn't nearby anything that resembles a shopping/dining area. The Hilton is directly adjacent to the terminal, walk out the side door and walk 30 yards to the front door of the hotel. They usually have a happy hour with free apps. And they used to save all the canned beer leftover from the banquets and sell it to the crews at $2/can. That was dangerous.

How's the downtown hotel in Vegas?
I've only been at the Hyatt.

It's no St Regis, but it will do. Plenty of entertainment around. Decent pool.
