Aus is nice and has food around it, but it's 20 mins from the airport!

From what I heard this was just a temporary deal because of Spring Training. Now that it's over we are back at the normal place.

So is 6th Street. And THAT is where you want to be when in AUS. FYI, in Texas everything is 20 minutes from everything else.

Except that Spring Training happens EVERY YEAR. So as long as we're OK with non-compliant accommodations for 25% of the time, then I guess it's only temporary.

Yeah your right, everything in Texas does seem to be a drive.
I hadn't been to Austin in years, that city has really exploded with companies!
Traffic is horrible.

I get that we cannot allow the company to violate our contract. That said, I wish the union would agree to stay at the Four Points full time. I'd rather stay at the temporary hotel in PHX than our normal one. The normal hotel is loud, especially if you have a room that doesn't face the pool area and there is absolutely nothing around. At least that Four Points was quiet and had a decent gym and walkable food options. I'll take the additional 10min added to the van ride any day over the usual spot.

I agree with the other locations listed by a different poster. Truly some crap overnights for one reason or another.

The Sheraton at PHL is a descent hotel, and you can't get any closer to the airport. However, you are stuck there with no options. Walking across multiple 3 and 4 lanes is a bad idea. Lol I'm not sure what other alternates there is?
I put Philly as a order out delivery hotel, and even that is limited.

Does Frontier have long/ short stay hotels, or is it all the same?

All the same. All terrible. Our sad pilot group rationalizes our hotels and tolerates them.

Almost every single hotel we stay in must be about to lose its brand affiliation. I often ask myself "how in the heck is this place still a _________ (Marriott, Sheraton, etc.)". The hotels here are consistently terrible. Definitely much worse than those in my experience at a regional.
