Probationary Pilots Fired???

But Frontier management is profiting enormously by keeping pilot salaries far below industry standard. They are going to do as much as they can to hold on to that advantage.
This isn't about someone being unavailable for duty for over a month in each year. They are still making a huge profit on that guy/gal. This is about intimidation and control and even if it ultimately destroys the company it will make things look good right now.

And Epipens ought not to cost $600 a pair.

They're not doing it to manage individual pilot's performance, they are sending a message. Normally you try to work with an employee to salvage the situation, but that wouldn't send a message now would it?

Time to quell the hype.
The guys who were fired had used over 40 sick days since being hired. Also heard that Shawn had reached out to these pilots well before they were let go and tried to work with them, but they continued their abuse.
I mean, let's look at the quality of pilots we are hiring right now. I would say that it is well within the realm of possibility that the timing is coincidental. Also, it was only 3 probationary pilots that were let go. Not 10 or any other number.
