For those of you that haven't seen the new chairs, they are small, upright, fixed back, extremely uncomfortable chairs. They don't recline and they look like small kid's chairs. The recliners that used to be in the room have all been removed.
I have friends at United and Southwest that rave about what good rest and sleep rooms with high quality furniture they have at the Denver airport.
The idiot that was responsible for this new furniture should be fired. It definitely defeats the purpose of even having a rest room, and will contribute to the amount of fatigue calls.

I worked at a regional that removed the recliners at the worst of negotiations. It's vindictive power plays by small men. I think I've read enough of this sub. I won't even apply to frontier if you get a new contract because a new contract can't fix stupid.

This wasn’t a mistake. They want fatigue calls, sick calls, and pilot induced cancellations to increase. This will allow them to get a TRO. They haven’t given up on that yet.

I agree completely. I tried to get some rest before a brutal night of redeye flying, and it was impossible in the new chairs.
