Upcoming mediation
Thoughts on the upcoming mediation? I keep hearing company will be coming with a “boat load” of cash. Now we all know what their interpretation of “boat load” for us and what it is for them... either way, they can’t keep running this place as is or it will surely fail. 50% less pilots per month than they need. Not looking good

The union has expressed they don’t think this meeting was requested by the company and if the company really wanted to get a deal done they would’ve tried to initiate talks. They could bring a boat load of cash and still be way below industry standard. The whole rumor came from management in ground school so take it how you want.

Boat load of cash...who is buying this crap? There will be nothing to come of this meeting. Actually, probably less than nothing because the company offer will be so low.
They haven't taken all vacations yet, so they have more room to bleed.
Obviously the NMB called the meeting because they have to talk to us again, they cant ignore us forever. It doesnt mean they'll do anything other than facilitate pointless negotiations.

From the ALPA Q&A PUB Event email-
Did the Company Request the NMB to Schedule Another Round of Mediation?
We don't know. We only know that ALPA didn't request the NMB to schedule the session. It's possible that the NMB decided that it was time to bring the parties back together based on its own assessment of the circumstances.

The company is no where near rock bottom. Know and fly your contract, nothing more, nothing less.
