A few questions
How many days off do you guys get between trips? Is there any language that says a minimum of three or four days off between trips? Also do you guys get a good mix of trips with two, three and four days on the bid. And lastly what does a typical trip look like. I know Regional flying and they work you like a dog. Is it the same at F9?

We have a very wide variety of trips. Day turns up to 4 day and 5 day trips are possible although there aren't any right now. Lines range from 12 to 20 days off a month, with 15 days off average.
We do fly a lot of redeye's, maybe 20% of all trips include a redeye.
If we have a problem, it's with trips being inefficient, not working like a dog. We have many 24 hour layovers since we serve so many cities with limited frequency.

Thank you
I appreciate you giving me information. Being a regional pilot I'm used to doing four legs five legs a day. Do you guys do things like that. I hope not. It's truly exhausting. So how long is a grade right now in a junior base. I've heard rumors that you guys might get two more bases this year. What do you think?

4 legs is the most I've ever done at Frontier. The fatigue factor here is from redeyes and or early shows on the east coast when you are a western guy. You won't fatigue from flying too much here.
They keep saying that more bases are coming, but they just opened Philly and its barely staffed yet, so I doubt another base is coming too soon.
Philly is currently very junior and I'm sure you could hold a line there very quickly. Otherwise, Vegas is also junior. Chicago might be the most senior for FOs to hold a line, but I'm not sure about that

As an FO you can definitely drop trips currently. In a year once we switch to PBS, no one knows. Also , picking up trips to fill in gaps can be very difficult. Not much left in open time these days.
