[QUOTE=V1 McFlyerson;2755499]Unless this 36 hour TAFB trip was:

- MOT Split
- DOT Split
- Vacation Overlap Split
- Trip Trade Split
- RGS Split
- jetway traded
- training except for OE
- Fatigue Call unless operationally induced

In the above loss of rig scenarios, the rig will begin accruing at the original sequence release time until the actual sequence release time if delayed and payroll needs to be notified if this applies as well as the rig provisions for combined sequences.

About half of this is correct. The issues are. Trip trade split (depends on how it was split), Jetway split, The pilot picking up doesn't lose rig. Fatigue call, You never lose rig for this if your the pilot calling in fatigue.

By the way, a reassignment just came in under the new language. In the end it turned into 1830 soft credit for getting back 24hr later. Way better than old agreement language (vac or JA for the leg on a day off). Just missed the extra vac day by 2.5 hrs or it would have been 2330. All triggers are actual and not scheduled. Another fix to old language.

Default Fatigue call clarification

The various rigs and soft time *may* be removed in the event of a fatigue call. I believe the language says that all the soft pay protections are removed if the cause of the fatigue is anything other than Company caused.

Based on my fatigue call history, the soft pay would have been removed about 75% of the time because the findings were “neither Company nor pilot controllable.” Most of my fatigue calls were the result of noisy hotels.

Fatigue for purposes of pay is broken down to pilot induced or operational, noisy hotels are an operational issue so in your example, you would not lose pay.

Agreed I’ve called in fatigued due to noisy hotels twice, I’ve never lost any pay.

Half is correct? This is straight out of the contract and examples. It’s all correct, and yeah... the person picking up the trade doesn’t lose the rig of their original sequence. Duh though, right?

Do you have any details? Was an aircraft broken down, was there a weather cancellation, or was the company just pushing the boundaries on the footprint language?

OMG! Our new contract doesn't prevent snow storms?! What a bunch of BS!

I am so mad that ALPA sold us a deal that doesn't prohibit snow fall, icing and unplowed runways. Unbelievable.

I bet we will find out that the new contract allows the company to route airplanes away from Hurricanes too.

Your right. For those that value their days off it sure is. That’s what reserves are for.
You apparently missed the whole conversation over the last month on how SWA, AA, and DAL are pushing to have the reassignment tool removed from their contracts due to it being taken advantage of.

But hey it is what it is. That was your best drama queen act to date btw.
