In turn, if I ever downgrade and you’re in charge, I will respect your authority and we can taxi on one motor all day long.
Settle down captain happy.

Yeah, the company is an extremely labor unfriendly group of cold hearted businessmen. We all know that. But the fact is we have more job security and higher pay than we ever had with previous management teams.

Relax. Just do your job, go home and enjoy your life
Let's be clear: it's only business to management. It is NOT business to the individual pilot. The CEO's home life is NOT changed by dragging out negotiations, but the pilot's home life IS changed by the CEO's bad-faith negotiating.

It is personal to the individual pilot.

That said, the Union needs to approach it like cold, hard, stone-faced business... just like management does.

Let me get this straight. If a captain fails to do a single engine taxi, you are going to call the CPO and ‘tell on’ that captain? Really?

This from the same guy that called the Denver police department and filed a criminal complaint for harassment against his fellow co-workers that mailed him a letter in support of a NO vote.

I am in disbelief that someone among us could be so petty. There is a name that comes to mind, but I am going to refrain.

No one should be calling the CPO. That is what pro standards is for.
The Airbus will tell on those that are wasting fuel.

Did I miss a memo that said we are required to single engine taxi? With a lot of new captains - myself included I always taxi 2 engines for safety. I need the extra help Incase I go the wrong way.

Re-read his post. He said if an FO refuses to single engine taxi that he’d return to the gate. He will not taxi with 2 engines running because said FO has a grudge with management.

I didn’t think it was that confusing but apparently something he wrote made it so for multiple people.

Personally now that we are out of section 6, I won't be doing 2 engine taxi or flying a high CI unless we are late or for safety reasons. I want my airline to be profitable and successful.

If you think they aren't monitoring individual fuel burns, you'd be dead wrong.
You won’t be doing any of that because you aren’t actually a pilot for Frontier, remember? And a CI of 100 is actually a high cost index. At least on the Airbii I fly. That’ll get you .78-.79. A CI of less than 60 is a slower cost index.

CI 100 will almost always get you .80. you'd have to have 200kts up the pipe to get a calculated cruise of .78 or .79.

Even 60 in most cases will cruise at .78 or higher

Our typical CI of 7 to 13 will most times be .78 headed west bound with a headwind
