Has anyone heard any talk from the training department about giving pilots who are returning from cola-35 and due for a PC a sim session prior to the PC? When I go in for training in March it will have been just shy of a full year since I’ve flown the bus. Sure would be nice to get a warmup lap before going to the judgement round.

I saw something similar mentioned in the Spirit thread, so I figured I’d toss it out over here too.

Isn’t there always a non jeopardy sim session on day 1?

You can bid for January training right now or just wait till February or March. There’s no extra sim session but it is 2 days.

Fair enough. I guess day one technically is non-jeopardy and I actually didn’t even consider bidding to go early. Thanks for the thoughts. I just hope the check airman isn’t too judgmental if I take a while to locate the magneto switches.

They’re next to the mixture knobs.

Me neither until I realized I wasn’t in cass due to the new current and qualified vol 1 language. That was supposed to be a fix and wasn’t. Dispute filed. Second one for Loa 23. The other was Cola-35 bid for training notice letter language violates Loa 23. Thats not what we signed up for and came out after colas were awarded. The fix for that one was the ability to now bid for training at any point per Loa 23 language.
