Late summer for RDU. That’s the word

Yet our CEO was there yesterday handing out free tickets. Yep, looks like we are giving up on AUS. White flag...you win, Spirit!

Seriously, speculating about new bases and making decisions based on what an ACP says from one week to he next in recurrent is laughable.

Guess the new rumor is we are shutting down mco and las base because spirit has bases there too.

When we merge later this year there will be lots of base swap options....

ReachHeavy 02-13-2019 07:19 AM

Is there serious consideration for RDU?

It’s anybodys guess.

Reading some older posts PHX seemed to be on the rumor list at one point. Did this change at all with PHL opening up and a potential RDU base opening?

No one in here knows. No one in the Chief pilots office knows. In reality only the executives sort of know as they themselves don’t really know. Anything you read here is pure especulation.

Gotcha thanks

We found out LAS was going to become a base in the newspaper, communication is not this company's strong suit.

Prettywhacked1 03-01-2019 02:57 PM

And as memory serves, the month before the MCO base was announced in May 2015, former CEO Dave Siegel said “the new Frontier base will not be Orlando”.......true story!:D
