Default Hotels during trips

What type of hotel chains (Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott...) does Frontier typically put its crews in for the overnights? I come from the regionals so my standers are not high anymore, but it would be great to work for a company that provides its crews with decent hotels and locations during those overnights.

Think Econolodge, Super 8, AmericInn.

Just kidding. Honestly, there is zero consistency to the brands, but I think they are all nice. Our new contract finally got us long stay hotels for nights over 18 hours.

We stay at lots of Crown Plazas, Marriots, Holiday Inn, Alofts, etc. My hotel standards are low, and I'm virtually always happy with our hotels. I'm still emotionally beaten from 5 years of flying for a crummy regional

It seems like more and more Hilton’s are popping up along with Doubletrees. But yeah 95% of the hotels are good. Since I’ve been here the hotels have consistently improved. The trend will continue now that we get long hotels.
FYI I can only think of 2 Holliday Inns we stay at. One in northeast is actually really nice, the other in the far southeast needs to change. Hopefully it will soon.

This poster generally takes whatever dog food the company serves with a smile. The hotels at Frontier mostly suck. You might get a Sheraton here or there but the locations are generally terrible. Tampa and Vegas are the only decent overnights with lots to do.

Ya, SAN, PHL downtown and MKE definitely suck...GMAB. The hotels at Frontier did suck, but the hotel committee has done a great job getting us into better properties. There are still some crappy hotels, but they are getting fixed.

Agreed I came from the corporate side where we always stayed at full service Marriotts and Hilton’s. I can count on one hand how many hotels totally suck.
We stay at some pretty decent places, and it’s been improving across the system.
Even my buddies at Delta and United say they have their 10% hotels.

Good Lord, you must be a miserable person. I feel sorry for you. It's a freaking hotel. They aren't old, dirty, moldy places. They are all fine. You need an attitude adjustment.

Are you seriously arguing that over 50% of our hotels suck? Or are you just such a miserable person that everything is wrong in your eyes?

It’s 70% that suck. You keep enjoying those garbage hotels and eating from the gas station!

I must be into dog food as well. Over 20 years of flying and I think our hotels are just fine.

I also think the hotels are pretty good, for the most part. There are some that aren’t in very good locations, but most are fine. A few of the newer ones have been quite good.
