Hopefully the grieved party will at least start with pro standards vs going strait to the company.

What can pro standards do about making the grieved pilot whole? Alpa should file suit against the thieving perpetrators against the pilot group. Maybe last summer's INC flyers could help the thieves with their legal defense fees.

I'm just saying they could make contact with the perpetrators and perhaps that would fix the problem going forward. Dumb idea I guess.

I don't think it's a dumb idea. 99% of the time I agree and maybe they would quit, but it wouldn't surprise me if the type of person that would steal from the pilot group wouldn't care what someone from prostands has to say about cheating the rest of the group.

Maybe, but if the first call was to the offender letting them know that if it happened again that the next call would be to the company, my guess is they’d take heed. If not, it’s on them at that point anyway. It’s crazy to me to think that someone could get fired for having their spouse adjust their schedule for them with no warning first. If I were doing that and then was warned by the union to stop or else I would be reported to the chief pilot’s office, I’d stop immediately.

Why not? The PAF already wipes out seniority completely... if someone is cheating you out of between $750 and $5000 for a day or two worth of work, doesn’t that pi$$ you off? I have dipped into the PAF a couple times and I have to look at the trip to see if it’s even in my base... then I have to see if I can get enough sleep to even do it... by the time I finger fawk my way through that, the trip is long gone... the user agreement with flica states your password is private... they’re breaking the rules and taking money out of your pocket... under 99.9% of circumstances, I’d prefer to leave management out and settle it with prostans, the union or between myself and the other crew member... whether you’re using a bot or a spouse, it’s cheating and the offending party knows it’s wrong... and if I catch someone, I’m straight up turning them in

Hard to argue with that. Bots are one thing but me personally I don’t really have an issue with a spouse trading in daily to improve life. To each his own and my care level on it is pretty low. Good luck. Like I said earlier management won’t help you so it’s going to take a dispute.

I love it... always a bunch of numbskulls who think there are "bots" picking up OT...

I do not even know where to begin to explain how logistically impossible this is. No one has bots.

If you have OT alerts, have your password and username prefilled on your phone, set up a short cut to OT live folder, and know wtf you are doing, it is not hard to snag trips....
