July Announcement
Apparently there is supposed to be a big announcement coming in July? I have heard this rumor multiple times from a good deal of people on the road. I’m sure it’s just blow, but I keep hearing it. The rumor is management wants everything wrapped up, and a clean slate for July.

My guess is hiring 500 pilots (is that what it was?) in 2019.
Or new bases.
New uniforms?
Does the biff send misinformation to the CPO for some reason? Wouldn't it be better if "they" just kept their mouths shut about how great it's eventually going to be here -------------> in the future with hiring, upgrades, and expansion? It's great from my perspective as a line pilot but like management gives a crap about that. The AIRLINE could be great RIGHT NOW if management had any pride in our product. They clearly do not but now I'm just ranting.
Maybe their plans change this frequently? I know a benefit of this bottom-dollar ULCC business model is the ability to quickly pivot based on market needs but why put out a seemingly never-ending stream of plans that never come to fruition?

The rest of April, ALL of May, ALL of June, and then however much of July... What would anyone on the line even possibly know about an announcement in July? Just sayin'.
