Comply says all 18 are conversions from 320neo’s.It sounds like they are keeping the 321neo’s and adding XLRS.

“320neo family” aircraft include the 321neo. Regardless, I’m still sticking to my assumption that this means zero net gain of aircraft from what’s already ordered.

Hawaii and Alaska are easy but NAT flying is a whole different animal, so to speak. We will be in contract negotiations again by the time the xlrs show up, so hopefully we can address such issues then.

Why is everyone so negative on this. This aircraft is a game changer. You can’t fill a 787 (an aircraft triple the price) to mid sized cities with low fares. You will be able to do it with this. And the fact we already operate this as a single fleet type is awesome. I think of what the 757 was for Continental. Enabled them to grow without the risk of a wide body. It gives us a real shot at long term success.

Raise your hand if you'll pickup some sweet XLR INC flying during the couple / few years we're in contentious contract negotiations after these arrive on property.

Wouldn't want that TRO to come knocking on your front door.

I think our pilot group showed their true colors during the last round of negotiations.

I like the fact that we’re getting these planes because I want to fly to Europe and Hawaii but it almost seems like Barry didn’t want them when you look at his interview.
