I definitely am. Rumor has it there is a 5 year MCO CA on track to break half a million this year.

That seems highly unlikely. Even considering the signing bonus, a conservative estimate would require him to be crediting 170+ hrs per month. Every month.

Not to mention two paychecks at the lower rate and more than likely only 2 weeks vacation. The only pilots that will crack 500 are top of the scale check airmen double dipping sim periods on a regular basis all year. I did just fly with a pilot that was at 220 credit and that was before applying premium.

I’m at 230k for the year with 2 of my 3 weeks of vacation left. I don’t see a problem reaching 400k.

What’s the point in making $500k if you don’t have a life? I’d rather enjoy my life while I’m healthy and young... I save plenty for retirement and I had a very comfortable life at 5th year CA pay on the old contract...
