Expect a new contract around spring 2026. We'll fix per diem, LTD, sub 12 year rates, get rid of the 125% over 82, and fix our lack of flexibility issues such as not being able to drop below a 65 credit hour monthly average. Also 4am shows. Homey don't play that.
And medical reviews for fatigue calls. Those are very unpleasant. Believe me.

I agree, why would you want to get rid of 125% over 82?

Because it’s a ruse to keep the hourly rates below market. Just raise the rates to market rates and cut the extra math games.

Finally, someone gets it. This thing was sold on making more than the other carriers as long as you went over 82.

Truth be told there needs to be a credit cap. Raise the hourly, spread the wealth for any extra flying and increase the number of pilots on the seniority list.

I agree with use the over 82 premium to negotiate a higher rate but let’s not go crazy with caps. A cap is a concession. Your not getting anything for that and would probably have to give something for it. There’s no way around that. Give me one reason why you would want that? To have more pilots? Why? Alaska has a cap and it costs top captains that were virgin America close to 100 grand a year once implemented. A cap is one of the worst contact provisions in anyone’s contract. Ask any Alaska pilot.

No credit caps please. One of the things I like the most about our contract is that if you want to be productive you get rewarded. I actually like the credit above 82. If you don’t want to be productive and want time off you can also achieve that.
