Default Striped tie

I see some guys wearing a black and white pin stripe tie.
Where are guys getting these?

I take it you’re not a member of the F9 pilot Facebook group? Some pilot ordered a bunch of them.

I got mine from TheTieBar but as a word of caution...the stripes wear off after about 8-9 months.

You also have to buy three in order to have them made and shipped. I’m on my last one now and once it dies I’ll just go back to black.

I am on the F9 FB page, just never check it.
I found the info though. I missed the group buy, but Joseph the guy who organized it all had Tie Bar order some extras and posted a link.
Thanks for the info.

I find the stripped tie concept obsolete. It was an old uniform no longer used and Vol I just allows the wear if you have it. Not saying we couldn't use a better uniform, but why go to the trouble of getting a tie that it's not part of the current uniform.

Seriously?
The plain black boring tie is beyond obsolete.

Why don't you get a flag tie?

Edit, the plain black tie hides the coffee dribble better from those POS lids.

I like the tie because it looks sharp. It’s professional looking and helps us not look like Mormon missionaries.

That: ^^^^

Again, THAT^^^

Our current uniform looks like some puppy-mill flight school or low-tier regional. (queue ReserveCA and substandard contract references).
