Uhhhhh, Frontier hasn't hired any pilots in 2019(new contract efficiencies, summer, etc). It's not a personal vendetta against you. Airline industry has never been better. Pity party? Stay optimistic.

March 2019 class here- about 100 have been hired this year.

Personally I would start hounding your MEC. If this just happened outside of your contract there might be a way to get an arbitrator to void it. If that doesn’t work try and get an actual copy of the agreement then look for holes. When you find one file a dispute and force the argument.

A lot of times when furloughs take place, ALPA helps secure preferential interviews/hiring for furloughed pilots at other ALPA carriers. Maybe this would drop the flow/interview restriction for Compass pilots if and when you actually get furloughed. Wish I had better advice. You could also jump ship to another regional that doesn’t have flow, keep one foot out the door, and apply to F9 and anywhere else your interested in. At least that would keep you moving forward instead of backwards. Lateral regional moves hurt, but not nearly as bad as when I made one. Good luck! FYI I only spent one year at my second regional before getting hired at F9. I probably got lucky, but it’s something to consider.

Once you are furloughed you are no longer considered a employee and any contractual agreements should not apply.
