Last I checked the Republican party had control of the Executive branch and the Senate.

Do you think the Democrats are in control?

Also, Operation Warp Speed is underway and working to get a vaccine ready as fast as possible

And a majority of republican appointed justices in the Supreme Court.

I haven’t had more than 65 on any of the last six legs.... right now there is too much uncertainty for our customers, such as mandatory quarantine for people traveling to or from certain states. Inconsistent rules, inconsistent behaviors, and way too much division. IMO people are probably just thinking it’s not worth the BS...let’s just stay local or go camping or something.

Not rooting for the virus, just observing, and being real about the current position.

Yeah I was optimistic for a bit. Looking pretty dire now. I really don’t think we get through this without furloughing. Hopefully we keep our contract intact, we worked to dang hard for it. I’m really hoping for a vaccine early next year.

Didn’t mention above, but most people would feel pretty bad about bringing home a virus that could end the lives of family, friends, or loved ones. Kinda goes without saying, but probably quite a few aren’t taking that gamble even with the odds being in their favor.

Im hoping for a JB style solution. Offer up A combination of early outs, COLAS and a credit cap.

Upper end credit caps set a bad precedent. A better option would be allowing people to drop to less than current contractual limits. Also a temporary LOA allowing for a lower min guarantee with lines actually built to (or less than) that lower guarantee (so more time off). But allowing even temporary caps on the max amount of credit earned is a really slippery slope. Don’t do it.

To be clear nobody (except a few mgmt and union guys on an NDA) knows what JB has in their LOA.
