If they are canceled due to low loads as opposed to mandated cancellations by govt authorities then there is a small consilation that the company has saved a little by not flying the route. Point being, it may look grim but in reality it is only a setback.

Exactly. WTF is going on? This is the last thing I want to see right now.

Not amused at all and painful to watch. I hope we recovered as much as we can and why did not more trips end up in premium I would have helped out.

Picking one up at straight time would have helped more. The decision to pay pilots premium or cancel may not be so obvious.

This is the result of incompetence... it’s been a while since we had a signature frontier meltdown... they brought this on themselves 100%... this was not the time to do it, but here we sit

Yup ^ that is what I heard too. We all makes mistakes but the timing on this one stinks. Hope we learned from it so it won't happen again.

Someone needs to be let go for this. It’s never acceptable but at this point in time is could be catastrophic for our business.

Except Covid LOAs prevent pilots from picking up straight time after Day (minus) 3, unlike contract day-1. April was day-6. Premium is the only way to pick up relatively short notice. I don't know if this is something the company wanted or the union.

Depends on the circumstances. I wouldnt get too wound up over it. It may be a very sound business decision.

It looks like we actually flew 5 more flights then we had originally planned for on the 3rd. That means marketing and scheduling didn’t talk. Great timing guys! 🙄
