Application Window Stats — 27 JAN to 17 FEB
I’m sure others are wondering where they stack in this application window since everyone with a pilot certificate not at a major carrier is applying. I figured it could be interesting to see what people people are applying with and who inevitably gets selected for an interview.
- Flight Experience
- Highest Education Level
- Type Ratings
- # of Recommendations (internal, external, Silver Bullets)
- # Hiring Events Attended (MTC, job fairs)
- Notable Job Positions (Captain, LCA, Chief Pilot, Sim Instructor, Union Rep, etc.)
- Military Service
- Volunteer Experience
In the interest of protecting your anonymity, if you want to be approximate your stats, that works!
Good luck to everyone!
p.s. after the window closes, if anyone with insider information can share how many applications HR gets, that’d be interesting

Other airlines have been known to read these kinds of threads, fairly easy to guess who you are and then they can look at your previous post history. You can judge whether that's a problem or not.

Competitive?
Along the lines of this thread I'm just curious what Frontier pilots would consider to be competitive qualifications? I'm still an FO at a regional, but I'm considering throwing an app out there just to see what happens. According to the Frontier website I meet all the mins, but I'm sure the competitive quals are actually much higher.

I you really want to work at Frontier; and you meet the minimus; then apply.
If you're not successful in your first interview; take any feedback that's offered, make the changes and apply again...
Good luck,

Thanks
You can be sure of one thing. If you don't apply; you're not in the competition.

Recruiting will look at the respondents and decide who they want to meet. I don't know exactly what they're looking for; but we're not an airline of clones.
