This is a valid point. I’m coming at the ATL commute from the standpoint of someone who lives there. I almost always start my commute with my first option being something other than 🔺. I have gone through 3 straight Delta flights and missed each. If they’re your only option, it could definitely be a tough commute. From ATL-MCO there are 5 airlines that operate so I’ve had lots of options.

Who are you competing against? Delta currently has positive space commuting so the jumpseat is almost never booked. I think I’ve had a total of 2 jump seat riders in the last 18 months. The Atlanta gate agents sure are a surly bunch though and often working flights by themselves making it even worse.

Getting TPA established took more time than management thought it would. FA's already are being based there.

Perhaps you're getting caught up by the language? As a 9E commuter even prior to Covid, PS to work was only a phone call away. As I understand it, DL mainline has an LOA in place for positive space to work. I'm told thats likely to become enshrined contractually

I heard a rumor recently that PHX is now going to happen before ATL for pilots. In ground school they are still stating that ATL will be Q1 and PHX will be Q2 or Q3, so who knows?
