That was also my first thought. FC view is far superior to anything FLICA or Jepp would ever design. Jepp will probably have some kind of language that prohibits the use of third party apps. Jeppesen’s motto should be “why innovate or make a better product when you can simply eliminate the competition through predatory means.” It took them 2 years after purchasing Foreflight to mate that superior app with their Neanderthal Jepp FD pro app. I won’t be keeping my hopes up. Everything Boeing/Jeppesen touches gets turned into cost efficient garbage.

Had they pulled off the MAX version of the 737 airframe without software induced fatalities it would have been incredibly cost efficient. Nothing like using the majority of the same tools and jigs to produce essentially the same airframe for nearly five decades. The first moon landing came after the first 737 flight.
It’s sad to see something as long lived as the Cessna SkyChicken still out performing 121 service.

Is this BL's clever way of reducing the value of our CBA by getting the pilots to pay for their own hotels vs the company? I don't know anything about building a route/system structure. Will our structure and utilization be substantially different with this model?
There was an article posted somewhere that included the leasing cost of our facilities in USVI and I was shocked how cheap it was. Like less than 2,000 a month I believe. Are all of these bases exponentially cheaper to service than hotels for crews? If they're going to pay us "market rate" then let's have them pay to move or pay retail for their own hotels?
Just dumb rhetorical questions.
