There's no set algorithm for seniority list integration. It's accomplished in accordance with ALPA's merger and fragmentation policy which only sets the requirements for negotiating a combined seniority list. You can find the document online. If a combined seniority list is required, it will likely be a blend of DOH/relative seniority, depending on what airline hired how much and when. It's complicated and the goal is to **** off the fewest number of pilots as possible.

For the record, I really don’t think any merger is imminent. I’ve never been through one and really don’t care to. But, if I had to, I wouldn’t lose too much sleep if it were NK. SWA on the other hand...

Also what ever happens its out of our control as pilots for the most part, who buys us or who we buy. Pilot often don't realize we are not in charge of corporations.
