I was merely implying it was an easy question to answer. A three word google search would’ve provided the info you were looking for so I’m concerned when solving an easy problem presents a challenge for a prospective coworker.

But what others have said is true, LC is the only person doing prep specially geared towards F9. Best of luck.

No need to worry. Thanks.

Default waiting time after outmatch

One of my buddy took outmatch early July and still waiting to hear. Does anybody wait that long and finally got interview invitation or even TBNT? Looks like that waiting time is not easy for him..

Unfortunately, the first steps in our hiring process have become a lot more like the legacies, i.e. only a select few in HR and perhaps the Chief Pilot's office know the details of how it works. Line pilots are still involved in interviewing candidates but even they do not know the criteria by which a candidate comes to sit in front of them on interview day. I do know that job fair attendees (in person or online) and those with Golden Eagles are getting higher priority status in the interview order, but there are some coming through who don't have those boxes checked. They will probably be the ones who have to wait the longest though.

I’m wondering the same thing…I took the assessment 2 days ago. Someone mentioned in a previous post that if you “fail”, you get an immediate TBNT. Is this true?

Thanks much for your words. He also have Golden Eagle from a FO at F9, where we still hold our breath…

I wonder the same thing too. Specifically, does test allow one to skip question(s) and return to it later ? I wonder if test is evaluating ones ability to prioritize tasks vs. fixating on one thing too long. One completing test quicker (with reasonable number of correct answers) might be less likely to duplicate EAL411 fixation on gear light problem and CFiIT-ing themselves into the swamp. Who knows.

IMHO, those cognitive tests are another HR gimmick to justify someone's job. In 1 book, Brian Power-Waters recounts how 1 pilot who got the highest Stanine score ended up with 2 accidents, the last 1 fatal. Jump high, and good luck to prospective F9 hires.

You won’t be denied an interview from the outmatch, unless you are crazy.

He hasn’t gotten call because the FO that gave him the golden eagle is probably really Junior. They call golden eagle candidates in order of seniority of the employee giving the GE.

No, you don’t have to be crazy, just score significantly outside what they have told the computer would “fit” at Frontier. And no, seniority has nothing to do with the Golden Eagle program other than you’re not eligible to sponsor a Golden Eagle unless you’re off probation.

Thank you for reaching out and your interest in Frontier Airlines! I do see you've completed the Outmatch assessment. Thank you for getting that done. You are on our list to receive an interview invite and should be looking at an invitation for our October interview sessions. We work our Golden Eagle referrals by seniority order of the referring employee.

Stand by, we'll get you an invitation as soon as possible.

Regards,

I got this from recruitment, after asking what the status of my interview was…
