I don't fly those west coast redeye turns (a DEN trip) but I find it ridiculous that stand ups used to pay 6 hours but the redeye turns don't.
Absolutely no reason they shouldn't pay as much as standups used to. They are worse trips to fly and we should be compensated better for them.

stand ups still pay 6. Redeye overide helps with those. You make it min calendar show could become 0001.

yeah I’m sure you would have been able to extract the best of everyone’s contract from franke. Lol. There basically was no rig prior to this agreement. 3.75 tafb. That’s pretty much it. At some point you have to make a decision calendar or duty. There’s issues with both because it’s an average. Everyone that does red-eyes has the same problem. Average.

Its not always an average. There are contracts out there with a straight minimum calendar day. Granted, it’s not 5 hours (that I know of).

[QUOTE=CantStayAway;3268323]5:15 avg min day is pretty standard for the airlines we want to compare ourselves with. Min day still exists at some airlines at the 4:00 or slightly less range. There is a carve out till 0200 at all the major players. We certainly have work to do in the area, but we had nothing before. The 5:00 AMDP got rid of the lone SLC turns and the lone DFW layovers, the next round we can address the min day, it was financially not going to happen, but let the folks like Mr, Kennedy , who has never volunteered for anything, yet constantly criticized everything alpa has done, continue to wax poetic about holding out at 166.68/ hr, until we could bring indigo to its knees. Personally I thank our negotiators everyday for the $400,000 I make every year under our new contract.

wow, which Frontier Airlines do you work for? I’m at the one hq’d in Denver and this one doesn’t pay nearly that much.
