Its in the contract how long you have to wait for transportation and hotels. I don’t want to have to walk you to it, but I will if you need it.

Have you heard of disputed hotel charges by the company? I haven’t heard of a single one being denied. Just follow exactly what the contract says and you’ll be fine.

If you want to waste your time at the airport at 3am waiting on a hotel, then that’s on you. The union and company have it written down exactly what we can and cannot or in that case. Idk about you, but I’m happy to get my own room and wait a few weeks for reimbursement.

The company will not dispute your hotel charge. They don’t want to spend the 10-20k for arbitration plus 100’s of hrs in wasting everyone’s time to save $150-$200. As long as you comply with the language for it. Might want to actually look at it.

It’s always good to check that the hotel is on FC view before you head to your final destination. Easier said than done, but I’d try as hard as possible to get it done before I take off.

calling after finishing a reserve assignment……… we have 10 min to call back so I guess it’s 10 min to auto release

I'm at NK where we have the same issue, got delayed yesterday, contractually too long of a day, took almost 2 hours to get CS on the phone to let them know we were done. I told them I wasn't going to wait for them to get me a hotel. They never called me back with my reassignment. It's frustrating and it should be an automatic hour of pay every time they don't hold up their side of the contract.

Having said that, I am not waiting, and not worried about getting my money back....
