When will there be another vacancy?
 

Hopefully we see a new vacancy this week? It’s been about two month’s since the last one. I see they’ve been typically posted in the last week of the month. With all the hiring we’re doing, I’m still confused as to why there wasn’t one posted last month?

I hear lots of us wondering about the same.... I’d guess when the cancellations get too frequent/costly, or impact on D0 hurts the stock price........ seems like we are 5-15% short on FOs in some domiciles, but overmanned on CAs system wide....... I always thought the simplest approach to hiring and upgrading is “never completely stop” , but seems US airlines go straight from hiring in big numbers to furlough........ hope you are right though..... vacancy soon!😁

Very confused too. We've been having new hires this whole time, how can we not have a system bid? Were those new hires just told where to go without bidding? Truly a WTF, welcome to Frontier, moment for the new guys.

I believe that’s exactly what happened. I was at the school house last week and there were new hires there from the August class that were already given their base assignments. I hope no one junior to them wanted any of the bases they were awarded. I only spoke with a guy briefly and he said he was given TPA.

I could be wrong but the August class won’t hit the line until Oct, which is when the last vacancy bid was for (10/1). So we really didn’t need a bid until around now for the September class. It’s gotta be this week.

They’re running a class of 42 in September, I’m sure a bid will be out soon.

Is it one class of 42 or two classes of 21 ? I heard two smaller classes from now on … Anyone in the know ?
