NK competition
I don't get it... Didn't BB say that there was this massive near 90 percent untapped ULCC market? It seems like every announcement either us or spirit is a near market for market match.
Case in point, this Philly expansion by spirit:

We are most definitely competing with Spirit.
Now that both companies are publicly traded, virtually everything the CEOs say in public is thru the lense of investor opinions. If they say they aren't competing, it's because they don't want to spook investors that the competition is going to hurt the company.

We are 100% in competition with Spirit and to say we aren't is ignorant. They moved into MIA and literally copied and pasted our routes, then we went into FLL, now they're expanding PHL.
Who is going to win this competition? No idea, but Frontier hasn't been shy about pulling metal out before when it makes sense to do so.

Yup. Daniel shurz knows what he’s doing. We would have closed the doors a few times had it not been for that guy.
