Frontier attrition

Anyone know current attrition numbers YTD?

Any guesses what the net pilot loss will be in first six months of 2022?

Were you thinking of coming to Frontier and have now reconsidered?

Are you now actively seeking employment other than at Frontier and why?

Does anyone think attrition will become so bad that there will be downgrades?

I am considering

I have a Delta interview March 3rd but was just sent an email from Frontier. I have friends that work there and enjoy it, but I also know people that have left for bigger airlines. How is the culture? Part of the appeal to me is the smaller vibe (I know they are growing) and hopefully quicker upgrade times. Downgrades though, that doesn’t sound good. Is the house on fire and we can’t see it?

The house is on fire and most of us can see it.

Then the top brass asked the toddler to call 911. Toddler then goes and gets his mom’s old Razr with no battery out of his toy box and goes through the motion and reports back…done

Once hired the only email you can expect from frontier is of the carpet dance variety

Try United if you want a quick upgrade. Last two vacancy bids had unfilled CA positions.

FedEx was even shorter. A July newhire for an October upgrade.

Having experience at both I would say the “small airline” feel your looking for doesn’t exist. People are people. most CAs I flew with were fantastic and I really enjoyed spending time with them. But that’s true anywhere. Seniority progression at Delta is crazy. They want to hire 5000 in the next 2 years. You will be able to hold CA at Delta sooner if you want. Or just stay on the right side and watch QOL get better sooner. And pay wise….no the #s aren’t even close. I pay 1/2 the amount for a better medical insurance and they gave me 2x the HSA as what F9 provided. And wide body FOs pay scale is closer to F9 CAs. Then there is the profit sharing (not much this year I know) but historically it’s good. F9 is wishes and Delta/Untied/American are reality. Meaning they have real #s they need to hire based on current need and some future growth. Not just the hope of fantastic future growth, which may or not be fully realized.
