Is This Place on the Verge of Imploding?
Attrition to the legacies, toxic management, closing a base in an area with a giant metropolitan area, basically the entire recruiting team throwing deuces, etc.

As long as the airplanes keep coming, this place will be somewhat ok. The stuff you listed keeps this place from being really ok, pretty good, good, or a great place to be.
Yes those are dumb levels, but you know what I mean.

No, but it makes me wary of being apart of a sinking ship in terms of quality of life. Fast sinking.

The less people show up to interview or don't show up for class, the better for people that are already here. Theoretically management would see this and heads will roll, or at least wake up, and try to fix the glitch. Too late for ORD, but who knows what's coming down the line with this management.

I have also been wondering this. Entire recruiting team leaving just a few months ago. Coincidence? I’m too new to know.

And if they’re not able to staff those airplanes? Then what?

Anyone else have a feeling that we are on the verge of a major announcement (merger/acquisition/something else)?
Someone brought up the point that Spirits (and F9s for that matter) stock price is still way down from pre-pandemic. Both have orders, looking to grow and compete, and maybe this pandemic has gone on longer than anyone has thought it would, keeping stock prices lower than they thought. Pilot shortages, staffing challenges - anyone else have any thoughts?
