Yes. But you must go to MTC and have strong training record.

[QUOTE=jdm7565;3539190]I saw that Frontier just updated their rotor transition program application page. Aside from every helo guy/gal and their Mom applying, any thoughts on resume points to stand out from the crowd? I'd imagine a good amount of applicants will be Army helo guys (of which some may/may not have a college degree).
With such low time requirements (i.e. bare bones R-ATP mins), I'm curious as to what would stand out from the crowd? Off the top of my head, I've heard to go to MTC events, professional organization involvement/membership (WIA, etc.), college degree, community volunteer involvement, etc. Any other advice on how to get the app pulled?
Thanks in advance for any recommendations and advice!

trust me… hardly anyone is applying… we’re starting to not be able to fill classes… go somewhere where you’re valued… no point in wasting 6 months here (as a side note, I’m not a whiny ***** who brings others down because I have nothing else to do… the airlines are wide open… this is not a place you should be looking at)

FedEx just put a pause on hiring
Republic won’t hire until Q3 2023 due to lack of captains
Spirit just announced the sale of aircraft today
SWAPA just posted that they can’t fill classes today
That’s just the top of my head. Besides the fastest ways to a legacy is through a ULCC if that’s what you desire.

Whoa now. Debbie downer over here. Take a look around the industry. We aren’t the only ones struggling.

All of those airlines combined don’t have as many open grievances as Frontier does. No company is more hostile to their pilots than this place.

FedEx is because of their poor leadership and business model (and Amazon), not the lack of pilots that want to work there.
SWA is a great place to spend a career, but people are hesitant with the turmoil there right now. And rightfully so. But it will be a great place to be.

Your second sentence is certainly true. For clarity your first sentence is probably correct as well however it’s more than likely over 6/7 language violations. There’s just a ton over each one. This is more than likely due to the fact the company is trying to gain some leverage in upcoming negotiations so they’re unwilling to just pay out thus admitting the violation. That and the fact our group is unwilling to let violations go. More so than other shops. That’s a good thing.
