Hi all! I really dislike these forums, but I’m looking to get some feedback on Frontier. I’m a new regional FO with RATP. I spoke to recruiters at Frontier and they are hiring RATP. Sounds like I can easily jump to Frontier right now. Can we be respectful and make a pro/con list of Frontier? I like my regional and will finally get a line next month, but this would be a good step right? Pay increase and fly the A320 over RJs. I’m young and want to get to a Legacy quick. Also QOL matters of course. In the past I heard get 121 time that’s it, but now I’ve heard Legacy’s like pouching from their competition instead of taking from the regionals.

Hardly anyone applying??

trust me… hardly anyone is applying… we’re starting to not be able to fill classes… go somewhere where you’re valued… no point in wasting 6 months here (as a side note, I’m not a whiny ***** who brings others down because I have nothing else to do… the airlines are wide open… this is not a place you should be looking at)

Barely anyone is applying?? My app has been in since the RTP was available on airline apps. Not so much as a peep yet. Hopefully I'll been in one of the next few rounds of invites.

I applied to the RTP as soon as it went live Nov 2, 2022. I got an update email from Frontier saying they were inundated with applications and to please be patient Dec 6, 2022. On Jan 31st, 2023 I was sent my assessment and after I completed them I had an offer to interview about a minute later.

How does the program work? You apply, they give you money, you find an approved school to get 750 Total Time, 250 Hours of Fixed-Wing PIC, 100 Hours of Fixed-Wing PIC Cross Country, 25 Hours of Fixed-Wing Night PIC, 25 Hours of Fixed-Wing Multi, plus CTP and written, then tell them when you're done, and wait for an interview?
