321 NEO Deliveries?

F9 was scheduled to take delivery of 3 additional 321’s in November. Were any delivered?

Engine supply issues.

For whatever it's worth; talked to some management types at the training center recently. They said it's an airbus issue and that F9 is not delaying taking aircraft.

Doesnt help that it’s Pratt engines that are delayed the most.

fftpilots.com tracks them.

Might as well post the source. This way others can nerd out like I do.

Pretty cool that they have the trackers so you can see where different orders are. I guess the next 321neo is in for paint

Bored and looking at FFTpilots aircraft tracker looks as if 3 more 321 NEOs have been painted and will be on property shortly. Better late than never.

Interesting that at least one of the new 321’s has the same paint job as the original and is also an eagle. I assumed, obviously incorrectly, that “Frederick’s” paint scheme was going to be unique to the fleet.

I think 3 will be painted like that. Can't remember where I heard that at.

They will be eagles but have different names and pictures.

Kinda cool to see a Condor and Orca for the next two normal airplanes though!

/nerd

Was that a condor? I thought it looked like some kind of vulture. The orca looks too small.

I wonder if the 10 “white tails” we are supposedly getting are the AK 321 NEOs they intend to retire at the end of 2023? Still haven’t heard about those much since an offhand comment made a year ago or so. Certainly would help with the ~9 aircraft delayed from Airbus which will probably only get worse over time.

I wonder if Airbus contractually has to compensate it’s customers if deliveries are delayed outside of an agreed upon delivery window. I know they have in the past.

I don’t believe the 10 extra were Neos, I believe they were used ceo 21s

That was the original announcement. When they ordered the new 321s/xlr airplanes it was in the footnotes that the white tails were NEOs.

To be delivered 2nd half of 2022- 2Q 23.
