With SWA in complete meltdown mode and other airlines just staying alive how has the commute been going for everybody?

I saw SW has cancelled all but 1/3 of their flights Tuesday and Wednesday. Yikes…

I had to abandon them twice already do to cancellations. Today they cancelled 70 percent of their flights!!! Yikes!!!

Absolutely nuts. Add on the preemptive cancellations the next two days of 2500 flights each day! That’s why I asked. Commuting has to be a disaster right now.

Anyone remember how bad or our 2016 meltdown got? By percentage of flights canceled?

I don’t but would like to know also. I remember they shut down the training department for a bit, and used instructors to reposition aircraft.
I was there at Airbus for training at the time. Correction, it wasn’t called Airbus back then.

So SW cancels 2600 flights today….. at an average of 100 pax per flight how do you recover 260,000 passengers?
