We will have to see. Either way, We better come out with something that is up to par with everyone else and none of this $30 less crap.

I don’t know who would come to a place like frontier right now except for the atp and Purdue kids they lure in or sub par folks with multiple DUIs or failures. Frontier is a joke and anyone with any kind of self worth should stay far away from this place. But wait they will give you a 35k “bonus” that you have to sign a promissory note for and pay interest on lol. Anyone with a brain should see this for what is is, a way of trapping you here for 3 years when you have much better career options. I flew with plenty of cool people at frontier but there were also more absolute weirdos than any other place I’ve been as well. The pathological liar who has a whole thread on this website dedicated to him and tried to pull someone over at gunpoint when he was an FFDO a few years back ended up at frontier if that tells you something. Federal government says he’s not trusted to carry a gun any longer but he flies airplanes at frontier now. I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone with a future.

I do miss that, it's way more chill and a far better learning environment.
I agree AQP is the way to go and provides for a better learning environment through the modular approach to training, however I would say it depends a lot on the company. There are AQP programs out there reportedly washing out far more trainees than Frontier's training program has ever done and with the same career consequences. You don't get a type rating without the possibility of a pink slip, no matter how the training program is structured. Our training admin side may leave a lot to be desired, but the quality of the actual training itself is still top notch.

It’s been a while since some of you guys were flying 5 legs a day on a CRJ and being junior manned or sitting 6 hours airport reserve, hasn’t it?

There is literally nothing about a regional lifestyle that is better than what we’ve got at F9, except for not having to tell people you work at F9. I think anyone suggesting otherwise has been out of that game long enough to have forgotten how miserable that lifestyle is.

Well its pretty awesome at a regional you can tell people that you work for and in behalf of any legacy you so chose.

Yep. Right before you walk down the jet bridge to a clapped out 70 seat plane with MELs practically being used as wallpaper. 😌

For those of you who weren't here last negotiations, biffle canceled vacations just to spite the pilot group. That should give you an idea of the type of situation we will be in during negotiations and how long it will take.

As long as people show up for ground school, the company will have no reason to participate in meaningful negotiations.
