Can I get hired at F9 with 1500 TT and no jet/turbo-prop time?

doz4dllrs 03-06-2023 02:34 PM

What’s your pulse rate?

Agreed. I'm almost to the point where I'm wondering . . . if you don't take the time to do the least amount of research (especially in the hiring/training thread), how much are you gonna study when the time comes.

I heard they dropped this requirement

I think these answers are a bit misleading. As far as I know, the low time new hires are coming from pathway programs at ATP, Purdue, etc. If you were just a 1500 hr CFI without being in one of our specific programs (and then being hand chosen from that group), then I think you'd have to go to a regional/corporate first. If that's changed though I'd be interested to hear it.

Pulse is no longer required. Just fog the mirror test.

yes.

I’m asking more about 500 Turbine, I understand that I will need 1500 TT regardless

I think 500 turbine is solidly in the past. New hires are being plucked from the regionals with 100 hours turbine.

Go to meet the chiefs, show a love for f9 koolaid, and act mature enough your mom would be proud, and I would be shocked if you didn't get an interview to show your f9 love, and vast knowledge.

Will53202 03-08-2023 12:51 PM

Chances of getting picked up with 1400 total and 120 hours of 121 turbine SIC?
