Default Cadet program

Hello!
I applied for the cadet program few days ago, I’m working on my PPL and not in ATP fligh school.
Any idea on how long it would take to hear back from them? And Do you think I have a shot at it?
Thank you guys!

I'm not very familiar with it but the first bullet point on the cadet advertisement states you are to complete training with one of the 70 ATP flight schools. Are you planning on switching over to one?

I asked on their pilot recruiter Facebook page, if I already started training in a flight school I don’t have to go to ATP. I just feel like I’m in a disadvantage because I’m not in ATP and I’m in one of the states that doesn’t have ATP

I applied at a career fair, got the personality interview about a week later, at non-ATP affiliated flight school but YMMV, private in hand and fresh 1st class.

I applied in January. Got the pre-recorded interview two weeks later. After that it took two months to get the Microsoft teams interview, which I have set for later this month.

I'm not an ATP student, I currently have my CSEL working on CMEL w/200 hours eligible for R-ATP. The Cadet program has opened up to everyone, but the website has not reflected this change.

If you have reddit, there's a subreddit r/FrontierCadetProgram that might have answers to any questions you have.

Hello

Just wondering if anyone here whos accepted to the f9 cadet program actually recieved a class date currently on the awaiting class date list for about a month and a half and no class date yet also have yet to be scheduled for logbook review and compliance. Was told the wait is about 2-4 months just wondering if this time is holding true or if its taking longer?

Was talking to a Cadet who received that 2-4 month message 7 weeks ago. I believe he just started the transition course today. So it was a little earlier than the 2 month wait, then again YMMV.

Ahhh got you yea i have a regional offer that i plan on giving a “family emergency” excuse to push my class date further into the future until f9 decides to give me a class hoping it happens quicker than advertised

Same here. Finished the initial cadet paperwork 8 weeks ago and was put on the waitlist at that time. Was told to expect 2-4 months, haven’t heard anything else about a class date or compliance paperwork yet.
