I sure hope it’s in 2025 but I’m planning on the company really starting to hurt with staffing in 2025. They will try out some bandaid solutions, then finally play ball with negotiating. AIP, TA, roadshows, voting and implementation and we’re at 2026 now.

By 2026 the big 4 will all be at $350 and hour for a narrowbody CA rate while we will be at $270.

Pay rate wise I fear that we will get everyone's 2023 rates or lower while the rest is 3 years into their raises. So for example a second year FO here would be $160 while our friends at the legacies are already pushing $200. Same on the CA side.

That being said. Even if all 2000 of us say that, would anyone listen?

Someone floated a bonkers rumor that AA buys us or Vice versa.
DL pay rates via acquisition?

I’m a cadet. We recently had a cadet town all meeting and one of the chief pilots mentioned that the contract was up for negotiations very soon. He said being an ALPA carrier we should expect a contract similar to to other ALPA Airlines. Take that for what it’s worth but that’s what the cadets were told.
