You’re right, Scooter, I’ve never worked at F9. And I prob never will.

But you guys brag about making
-+300k a year doing day turns,

-then talk about how miserable you are
,
-getting fired because y’all are apparently getting kidnapped on overnights,

-and then encourage everyone to leave and not come there because reasons.

I’m just encouraging you to do the same thing you want everyone else to do. Leave.

I’m doing you a solid, bra. I’m giving you insight into your tragedy and giving you a way out. You’re welcome my friends.

you need a recommendation PM me I’ll give you one. But 19 years experience at ULCC I’m sure your application goes straight to the front of the line anyway.

Man what a thread this is. I got 25 years left and I am still planning on staying here at F9... You have some certain BS things, but every airline has their downsides. What is funny, like usual forum fashion. Most people I talk to aren't even that upset with F9 and enjoy it here, but you have some doomsayers and of course, the legacy guys who think spending your time at a ULCC makes you a lesser. *shrug*

Yeah, my desire to leave is based entirely on one thing, not commuting. Other than that F9 is a good place, no different than the legacies when the door is closed. Flying an airplane is all the same no matter where you go. I do like I work rules here. Don’t know if y’all are getting that fixed in the current round of negotiations. Sucks our negotiations are 180 degree opposite of everyone else. That blows. Not commuting, QOL, and total compensation. Beyond that I could care less what paint is on the side of the plane.

yeah negotiations being so far behind means we are permanently behind in pay unless our NC steps up and fights for pay that can be equal to other airlines on the actual date. IE- if we get a contract reached in 2026, we have 2026 rates with the % increase yearly after, not 2023 rates with 2026 rates in 2029.

Some of you seem to think the sky is falling...good god, they're sending us to Jamaica, where there's more adventure than a James Bond film. Do you just not get out at all, or have you never been outside the US? Never bothered to look at the Dept of State map?

Look at it:

https://travelmaps.state.gov/TSGMap/

Most of the world is one big travel advisory.

For those of us that go there (the world) on a daily basis, those of you whining about an overnight in Jamaica sound like coddled, sheltered kids who are naive and ignorant of the world around you. If you don't understand that, let me translate for you: you should be embarrassed.

If you really think travel to Jamaica is a hero's adventure, perhaps you should curl back up with your video game and slide back into that safe harbor where you think you live. Ignorance is bliss. Enjoy it.
