Those who think indigo wants a “quick” negotiation need to remember who we are dealing with. They don’t pay quickly, for anything, EVER, period. Keeping costs low is their first priority. Growth of the business is second. They do not take on costs with the hopes they can recoup them with explosive growth. Look at the bidding war with JetBlue.

Im not convinced they will come to the table for a quick negotiation. If some miracle happens, and they do, I wouldn’t expect industry leading. Just my .02.

I agree. For those who think Indigo will come to the table quickly with an award winning contract to facilitate growth and stem attrition just look at spirit and JetBlue. Have their new contracts stemmed attrition? Doesn’t sound like it. Granted they are going through a merger and there’s probably people who want nothing to do with that. The way I see it until the backside of this legacy hiring curve comes, problems with retention/growth will continue.

It would be a great data point to learn who/which CEO, in airline or transportation history, agreed to an "early" new contract or whatever the legal term is.
there is zero business sense to pay guys higher wages early.
