PHL MTC
Hey guys and gals!
Would someone know where and when the MTC in Philly will be? I looked on the FFT website and the Facebook page and couldn’t find anything besides that it will be in July. Any info would be great thank you!

I’m guessing it’ll be at your local Comfort Inn & Suites. If they’re booked up, look for it at a nearby Best Western or Super 8. Only the finest!

I wanted to take someone’s opinion that is in the industry.
I’m a student pilot and I’m interested in the cadet program with f9, I applied a month or two ago and got denied without even getting an interview nor a wepow interview. I was thinking going to the MTC in Philadelphia but I never been to an airline event I don’t know what to expect what to wear or who to speak to and is going at this time worth it considering that in very low time and working towards my PPL?. If someone can give me more insight or where I can find information on how to prepare for that would be greatly appreciated!

As far the MTC goes, show up in a nice suit and go talk to people. Bring copies of your resume, smile and shake hands.

The Facebook page is run by the recruiters who put on the MTC events. We are all line pilots in here. We don’t get a special heads up or inside info on recruitment events. If it’s not on FB, then we don’t know.

If you got an automatic denial, then there must be an issue with your application. Do you meet all the requirements for the Cadet program? Any red flags that would stop you from getting hired? Right to work in the US?

If the application asked if you have a a valid passport and you clicked “no”, then that maybe the issue.
