Wanted to create a thread specific for Atlanta Base and it’s stories…

I’ll start.

The gate agents sent an angry mob to greet the arriving flight crew at another gate??

That gate agent who sent them to the other gate should get canned. Our gate agents are notorious for hiding on the jet bridge. As you can witness, it makes people really happy.

Ahh one of Atlanta’s finest 😳.

You get what you pay for.

Yeah. But can you think of a worse job? I really can't. I don't know how or why anyone would ever do that job.

It's a 24/7/365 job.. nights, weekends, holidays. You have to deal with airport driving, parking, badging. You get to get yelled at at 4am. All for probably $16/ hour. I'd rather work at Walmart or McDonald's

Exactly and probably the biggest issue we have right now. These agents need to be full time, with benefits (including travel), Frontier employees. Why else go through the hassle of working at an airport if you don’t have travel benefits.

Because McDonalds has higher standards and wouldn’t hire them.

I’m sure you understand that will NEVER happen at an Indigo Airline right ?

Nothing will change.

I was looking for this.... ATL is an absolute crapshow.

In RGS a few weeks ago apparently DS said ATL is our biggest issue base at the moment and they are planning on bringing gate agents back in company starting there.

I sure hope so, cause I feel like I am reporting gate agents every other day.

Nice to see these passengers flying domestic again after vacationing in Europe this summer.
