Training Over Holidays?

Good afternoon. Slated to start initial training in Dec. I was wondering how the holidays work while you are in training. I'm assuming we'll get a break over Christmas so we can fly home to the family. Am I correct? Thank you ahead of time.

At a minimum you should get Xmas and Xmas eve off of sims

That's what u was hoping for. Thank you. Follow up, do we start getting the free flight perks at the start of training or does that kick in after initial?

Nonrev and JS privilege are different, for holiday travel you'll need jumpseat privilege, cabins will be too full for nonrev. Or just buy a ticket.

Classes in December are not usually started until after Christmas. Usually around the 27th.

I'm starting class on Nov 20th, should I be expecting to get the 4-day Thanksgiving weekend off? Also, when do new hires get JS privileges? Is it day 1 of ground school or should I just buy a ticket home for Thanksgiving?

JS on day one. Might be pretty hard to JS on that weekend, but you’re surely able to give it a go.
