Current OE Wait Times?

Does anyone have a current report on how long new hires are waiting before they start OE after finishing sims? I asked internally and have gotten answers that are over the place. Appreciate any incite you may have. Trying to soft plan a family visit and just curious what I might be working with.

You really are at the mercy of Check Airman availability in your base. In some cases, training scheduling will send you out of base if the wait is extensive.

If you're one of the "lucky" ones going to SJU, you might be waiting a while.

But to really answer your question, hard to tell without knowing. Good luck!

Most of the April class is still waiting.. And many of us are coming up on 4 weeks since our checkrides were completed.

At most 15 of 58 have been scheduled at this time.

Thats crazy, as they're telling the new hires it is usually only a 10 day delay.

We waited a month for IOE last year. It varies

not even close to true over here, lol. coming up on 5 weeks now and counting.

Sounded to me like they were expecting the wait to come down drastically as the the two newest classes were so small.

hope so - if you're in the may/june class then I'd still prep a wait. The wait is nothing to do with LCA availability as I understand. classmates are being told it's a "PRIA" thing. Anyway. We're all hoping to get to flying soon, the free vacay was nice but 5 weeks is getting to be a bit much.
