Default Colorado Congress Members take on Frontier Outsourcing

Members of Congress Work to Prevent Frontier Outsourcing

This exact issue doesn't directly pertain to pilots now, but it could have implications on our profession down the road.

I am not holding my breath that this will amount to much. However, every little positive step helps.

Default good luck with that.

Again the camel tries to stick its nose under the tent.
Anyone care to name other carriers who have outsourced mx?
Where was the concern then ?

Can't remember the carriers name, I have seen other US airliners in San Salvador getting mx.

Kinda makes you wonder???

I would imagine there would be other carriers outsourcing as much as they can (it is the new American way), and that this repair station already has other US Airline work. It is too bad it didn't get more attention when it happened prior. It is good that it is getting attention now.

I am not against other countries having quality jobs for their citizens. I am also not against other countries doing repair work on planes I may fly in. What concerns me is US employers continuously moving these good jobs elsewhere just so the executives can get a little more in their bonus.

Though I doubt these politicians sticking their nose in will stop the outsourcing, I do think that every small step in the right direction is a good thing.
